2024 Copa Chile
The 2024 Copa Chile (officially known as Copa Chile Coca-Cola Sin Azúcar 2024 due to its sponsorship), is the 44th edition of the Copa Chile, the country's national football cup tournament. The tournament began on 27 April 2024. Colo-Colo are the defending champions. Format For this edition, the Copa Chile kept the format implemented in 2023, with a preliminary stage involving amateur clubs affiliated to ANFA, a regional stage where teams from Primera División, Primera B, and Segunda División Profesional entered the competition comprised by four geographical zones of 16 teams, and a national stage involving the four regional stage winners. In each regional zone, four rounds are played: round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the finals; the round of 16 matches were played as single-legged ties, whilst the other rounds will be played in a double-legged fashion. Copa Chile
The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Since the season 2009, the winners obtained a direct Copa Sudamericana spot for the next season, however this was change starting from the 2015 edition; since then the winners obtains a direct Copa Libertadores spot for the next season. Supercopa De Chile
The Supercopa de Chile (''Supercup of Chile'') is an annual one-match football (soccer), football official competition in Chile organised by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP). This competition serves as the season opener and is played between the Chilean Primera División, Campeonato Nacional Champions and the winners of the Copa Chile of the previous season. Host city The stadium that hosted the match and the date are defined when the two teams are qualified, for reason of distance between the two clubs. Unión La Calera
Unión La Calera is a Chilean football club based in La Calera and competes the Primera División de Chile. It was founded as Club de Deportes La Calera on 26 January 1954, after the merger of three teams from the city: ''Condor'', ''Calera Comercio'' and ''Tifón''. The following year, Deportes La Calera joined ''Club de Deportes Melón'' (originated by the merger between Cemento Melón and Minas NavÃo) to form Unión La Calera. After spending six seasons in second level, the club obtained its first promotion to Primera División de Chile in 1961, category where they remained until 1974. Club Deportivo Ñublense () is a professional football team based in Chillán, Ñuble Region, Chile. The club was formed in 1916 under the name of Liceo Fútbol Club. They compete in Chile's Primera División league. Huachipato FC is a Chilean football club based in Talcahuano that currently plays in the Chilean Primera División. Huachipato was founded on 7 June 1947 by workers of the homonymous steel mill in Talcahuano, and it currently plays its home games at the Estadio Huachipato-CAP Acero, which it owns, making it one of the five Chilean professional football clubs to own their own ground.
