The 2024 Clásica de San Sebastián was a road cycling one-day race that took place on 10 August in San Sebastián, Spain. It was the 43rd edition of the Clásica de San Sebastián and the 26th event of the 2024 UCI World Tour. 2024 UCI World Tour
The 2024 UCI World Tour was a series of races that included thirty-five road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2024 in men's road cycling, 2024 cycling season. The tour started with the 2024 Tour Down Under, Tour Down Under on 16 January, and concluded with the 2024 Tour of Guangxi, Tour of Guangxi on 20 October. Brandon Alexander McNulty (born April 2, 1998) is an American cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam . In the 2016 UCI Road World Championships – Men's junior time trial, 2016 UCI Junior World Time Trial Championships McNulty became the fourth American junior world champion after Greg LeMond, Jeff Evanshine, and Taylor Phinney, winning the time trial by 35 seconds. Career Early career McNulty grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and enjoyed riding mountain bikes in his free time. Michael Russell Woods (born 12 October 1986) is a Canadian professional racing cyclist, who rides for UCI ProTeam . An accomplished runner as well, Woods was the first person to have both run a sub-four-minute mile and complete the Tour de France. Career Athletics career Woods' first sport was ice hockey and his childhood ambition was to play as a left wing for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Prior to becoming a cyclist, Woods was a promising middle-distance runner, setting Canadian national junior records in the mile and 3000 metres in 2005, as well as taking the gold medal in the 1500 metres at the 2005 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships. However, he suffered a recurring stress fracture in his left foot, exacerbated by excessive training and racing, resulting in his running his last race in 2007.
