2024 Baseball Hall Of Fame Balloting
Elections to the Baseball Hall of Fame for 2024 were conducted according to the rules most recently amended in 2022. As in the past, the Baseball Writers' Association of America (BBWAA) voted by mail to select from a ballot of recently retired players, with the results announced on January 23. Three candidates were inducted by BBWAA: Adrián Beltré, Todd Helton, and Joe Mauer. Beltré and Mauer were inducted in their first year of eligibility; Helton was in his sixth year of eligibility. The Contemporary Baseball Era Committee met on December 3, 2023 at the Winter Meetings to consider the election of eight managers, executives or umpires who made their greatest impact on the game since 1980. Manager Jim Leyland was elected by the committee. Inductees were honored in a ceremony at the Clark Sports Center on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
