2024 Angel City FC Season
The 2024 Angel City FC season is the team's third season as a professional women's soccer team. Angel City FC plays in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), the top tier of women's soccer in the United States. Angel City Football Club is a National Women's Soccer League expansion team that began play in 2022. The team is based in Los Angeles, California, and was announced on July 21, 2020. The team has many high-profile owners, including Becky G, Natalie Portman, Eva Longoria, Mia Hamm, and Serena Williams. 2024 NWSL X Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup
The 2024 NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup is the inaugural edition of the NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup, a women's soccer competition between clubs from the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) of the United States and Liga MX Femenil of Mexico. The tournament is scheduled to be played from July to October 2024 at venues in the United States and Mexico. The 20 participating teams are divided into five groups, with the top four teams overall advancing to the semifinals. Christen Annemarie Press (born December 29, 1988) is an American soccer player for Angel City FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the United States national team. She first appeared for the United States national team during an international friendly against Scotland on February 9, 2013. She has made 155 appearances for her country and is currently ninth all-time with 64 goals scored. Press was the recipient of the Hermann Trophy in 2010 and holds the all-time scoring and assists records at Stanford Cardinal. Kennedy Linh Fuller (born March 9, 2007) is an American professional soccer midfielder for Angel City FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the United States women's national under-17 team. Early life Fuller grew up in Southlake, Texas. She is one quarter Vietnamese through her maternal grandmother. She played high school soccer for Southlake Carroll High School. Eleri Earnshaw (born 17 May 1985) is a football player and coach who has played for the Welsh national team, the New York Magic, and Arsenal Ladies. Earnshaw is currently the assistant coach of Angel City FC in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
