2023–24 V.League 2
The 2023–24 V.League 2, known as the Gold Star V.League 2 ( vi, Giải bóng đá Hạng Nhất Quốc gia Bia Sao Vàng 2023–24) for sponsorship reasons, was the 30th season of V. League 2, Vietnam's second tier professional football league. The season began on 21 October 2023 and ended on 29 June 2024. This season will be the first since the 2001-02 season to have an inter-year schedule (autumn-to-spring) instead of an intra-year schedule (spring-to-autumn). There will also be a break from 25 December 2023 to 10 February 2024 for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and from 7 April 2024 to 3 May 2024 for the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup. Like the previous season, teams won't be allowed to register any foreign players, but will be allotted a non-naturalized Vietnamese player slot. SHB Da Nang
SHB Da Nang Football Club (), simply known as SHB Da Nang, is a Vietnamese professional football club based in Da Nang that plays in the top division in Vietnamese football, V.League 1. The club was known as Quang Nam-Da Nang FC ( vi, Câu lạc bộ Bóng đá Quảng Nam-Đà Nẵng) prior to the 2007–08 season, when it was bought out by the Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB). The club won its first title in 2009, emerging as 2009 V-League champions and qualifying for the 2010 AFC Champions League. In the same year, they were also champions of the Vietnamese Cup. Adding to these victories, Danang's U-21 team also became champions in 2009 youth championships. The club were champions of the 2012 V-League season. Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu ) is a province of Vietnam. It is located on the coast of the country's Southeast region. It also includes the Côn Đảo islands, located some distance off Vietnam's southeastern coast. Hoa Binh Football Club ( vi, Câu lạc bộ Bóng đá Hòa Bình) is a Vietnamese professional football club based in Hoa Binh, Vietnam that competes in the V.League 2.
