2023–24 UNLV Runnin' Rebels Basketball Team
The 2023–24 UNLV Runnin' Rebels basketball team represented the University of Nevada, Las Vegas during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Runnin' Rebels, led by third-year head coach Kevin Kruger, played their home games for the 41st season at the Thomas & Mack Center in Paradise, Nevada. They participated as members of the Mountain West Conference for the 25th season. Previous season The Runnin' Rebels finished the 2022–23 season 19–13, 7–11 in Mountain West play to finish in seventh place. In the MWC tournament, they defeated Air Force in the first round before losing to Boise State in the quarterfinals. They failed to receive an invite to a postseason tournament. Kevin Kruger
Kevin Michael Kruger (born May 1, 1983) is an American basketball coach and former player, currently the head coach at UNLV. Born in McAllen, Texas, Kruger played high school basketball at George Walton Comprehensive High School in Marietta, Georgia and college basketball at Arizona State and UNLV. Kruger then played professional basketball from 2007 to 2013, including multiple stints with NBA Development League teams Utah Flash and Los Angeles D-Fenders. After retiring from playing basketball, Kruger became a college basketball coach, beginning as assistant coach at Northern Arizona from 2014 to 2016. Kruger later worked under his father, head coach Lon Kruger, as an assistant coach at Oklahoma from 2016 to 2019. Jordan McCabe
Jordan Ray McCabe (born September 3, 1998) is an American basketball assistant coach at West Virginia. He previously played college basketball for West Virginia and UNLV. Early life At age 12, while attending Beaver Lake Middle School in Sammamish, Washington, he drew national attention for his dribbling ability. In December 2010, he featured in a KOMO-TV segment. In the following months, McCabe appeared on '' The Ellen DeGeneres Show'' to put on a dribbling exhibition and was showcased in an ABC News segment. The Pacific Tigers men's basketball team represents the University of the Pacific (United States), University of the Pacific. They are an NCAA Division I member, part of the West Coast Conference.
