2023–24 Svenska Cupen
The 2023–24 Svenska Cupen is the 68th season of the Svenska Cupen and the twelfth season with the current format. The winners of the competition will secure a spot in the first qualifying round of the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League, unless they had already qualified for European competition in the 2023–24 season, in which case the qualification spot will go to fourth-placed team of the 2023 Allsvenskan. A total of 96 clubs will enter the competition, 64 teams from district sites and 32 from the Allsvenskan and the Superettan. Round dates The schedule of the competition is as follows. Bollklubben Häcken, more commonly known as BK Häcken or simply Häcken (), is a Swedish professional association football, football club based in Gothenburg. Husqvarna FF is a football club in Huskvarna, Sweden. The team is sponsored by the Husqvarna AB. History Husqvarna FF was founded on 3 February 1987 following the merger of the men's association football sections of Husqvarna IF and Huskvarna Södra IS. In its early years the new club played in Divisions 2 and 3. The club's fortunes improved in 1998 when the club finished with nine points ahead of Myresjö IF to win Division 2 Östra Götaland and gain promotion to Division 1 Södra, the second tier of Swedish football. Lunds BK is a football club from Lund, Sweden founded in 1919. The club currently plays in Division 1 Södra. Despite their relative success Lunds BK has never competed in the Allsvenskan or Superettan, but has played nine seasons in the second highest level. The club is well known for their youth football programme and has managed numerous players such as Martin Dahlin and Roger Ljung who have progressed to major clubs.
