The 2023–24 season was the 104th season in the existence of Leeds United and the club's first season back in the Championship following relegation from the Premier League. Héctor Junior Firpo Adames (born 22 August 1996), known as Junior Firpo or simply Junior, is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Leeds United. Mainly a left-back, he can also play as a centre-back or right-back. Club career Real Betis Firpo was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and moved to Benalmádena, Málaga, Andalusia at the age of six and joined Real Betis' youth setup in June 2014, aged 18, from Puerto Malagueño. Karl Darlow (born 8 October 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Newcastle United. He is the grandson of former Wales international forward Ken Leek who was included in the Welsh 1958 World Cup squad. Kristoffer-August Sundquist Klaesson (born 27 November 2000) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Polish club Raków Częstochowa.
