2023–24 Inter Milan Season
The 2023–24 season was the 116th season in the existence of Inter Milan, which have all been played in the top division of Italian football. In addition to the domestic league, Inter participated in this season's editions of the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana and the UEFA Champions League. This season was the first since 2011–12 without Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanović, who announced his departure following the end of his contract, the first since 2013–14 without centre-back Danilo D'Ambrosio who departed the ''Nerazzurri'' club to join Monza, and the first since 2014–15 without Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozović, who also left after being transferred to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr. Marcelo Brozović (; born 16 November 1992) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for club Inter Milan and the Croatia national team. 2014–15 Inter Milan Season
The 2014–15 season was Football Club Internazionale Milano's 106th in existence and 99th consecutive season in the top flight of Italian football. The team took part at Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Europa League. Season overview During the summer of 2014, Inter was left by the main protagonists of the 2009–10 Treble: the captain Javier Zanetti, Walter Samuel, Esteban Cambiasso and Diego Milito. Danilo D'Ambrosio
Danilo D'Ambrosio (born 9 September 1988) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back or as a right-back for club Inter Milan and the Italy national team. Club career Early career Born in Naples, D'Ambrosio began playing for local Campania side Salernitana. However, the club went bankrupt and he, along with his brother Dario, joined the Fiorentina youth team in 2005. The 2013–14 season was Football Club Internazionale Milano's 105th in existence and 98th consecutive season in the top flight of Italian football. The team competed in Serie A and the Coppa Italia, finishing fifth in the league and qualifying for the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League. Samir Handanović
Samir Handanović (born 14 July 1984) is a Slovenian professional footballer who serves as captain and plays as a goalkeeper for club Inter Milan. Before moving to Italy, Handanović played in his home country of Slovenia. In 2004, he was acquired by Udinese, but spent the next few years on loan, playing for teams such as Treviso, Lazio and Rimini. Handanović returned to Udinese ahead of the 2007–08 season, where he played as a starter for the next five years. In the next season, he also played European football for the first time, making his debut in UEFA Cup. After five years as starter and more than 200 appearances, Handanović joined Inter Milan in July 2012 for around €19.4m.
