The 2023–24 season was the 125th season in the history of Bayern Munich and their 59th consecutive season in the top flight of German football. In addition to the domestic league, they participated in this season's editions of the DFB-Pokal, DFL-Supercup and UEFA Champions League. Bayern's streak of eleven consecutive Bundesliga titles came to an end after they were beaten to the crown by Bayer Leverkusen. Leon Christoph Goretzka (born 6 February 1995) is a German professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Bayern Munich and the Germany national team. Starting off his career with VfL Bochum in 2012, he went on play more than 100 Bundesliga games for Schalke 04 before signing with Bayern Munich in 2018. Manuel Neuer
Manuel Peter Neuer (; born 27 March 1986) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper and captains both club Bayern Munich and the Germany national team.
