2023–24 Chicago Bulls Season
The 2023–24 Chicago Bulls season was the 58th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). They failed to improve on their 40–42 record from last year, suffering a second consecutive losing record, at 39–43. On April 1, 2024, despite losing to the Atlanta Hawks 113–101, due to having a 2–1 record against them in the regular season, the Bulls were able to secure their second consecutive postseason with a play-in berth. The team failed to improve on their record from the previous season, finishing 39–43 and as the 9th seed in the Eastern Conference. In the Play-In Tournament, they defeated the Hawks in the first stage, but fell to the 8th-seeded Miami Heat in the second stage for the second consecutive time to end their season. Billy Donovan
William John Donovan Jr. (born May 30, 1965) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He has served as head coach of the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA) since September 2020 after previously coaching the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2015 to 2020. Before moving to the NBA, he served as the head basketball coach at the University of Florida from 1996 to 2015, and led his Florida Gator teams to back-to-back NCAA championships in 2006 and 2007, as well as an NCAA championship appearance in 2000. Quamdeen Ayopo Dosunmu (born January 17, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
