Amane Beriso Shankule
Amane Beriso Shankule (born 13 October 1991) is an Ethiopian Long-distance running, long-distance runner. In 2023, she won the marathon at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest. In 2022, she improved her marathon personal best by nearly six minutes to take the win at the 2022 Valencia Marathon, placing third on the Marathon#All-time individual top 25, world all-time list. Beriso finished second at the 2023 Boston Marathon. Career Beriso Shankule won the Copenhagen Half Marathon in 2014. A year later, the 23-year-old set an unofficial personal best in the event of 1:08:43 when winning Roma-Ostia Half Marathon. In 2016, she debuted in the marathon taking the second place at the Dubai Marathon with a time of 2:20:48, a position which she also secured at the 2017 Prague Marathon (2:22:15). Rosemary Wanjiru
Rosemary Monica Wanjiru (born 9 December 1994) is a Kenyan professional female long-distance runner. She won the silver medal in the 5000 metres at the 2015 African Games, and represented her country at the 2019 World Athletics Championships, finishing fourth in the 10,000 metres. Wanjiru won the 2023 Tokyo Marathon and placed second at the 2022 Berlin Marathon. With her Tokyo mark, she sits sixth on the marathon world all-time list. She achieved the second-fastest ever women's marathon debut at the time at the 2022 Berlin Marathon. Career Rosemary Wanjiru moved to Japan as a teenager and began competing in long-distance competitions there. She was runner-up in the 3000 metres at the 2012 National Sports Festival of Japan, and won the national high schools championship over that distance the following year along with the Chiba International Cross Country title.

Gladys Lucy Tejeda Pucuhuaranga (born 30 September 1985 in Jauja, Junín) is a Peruvian long-distance runner. Biography She competed in women's marathon at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Further she was selected as Peru's flag-bearer for the 2012 Summer Olympics Parade of Nations. is a Japanese professional long-distance runner who specialises in the marathon event. She is an Olympic champion over the distance. Initially starting out as a track and cross country athlete, her first major success was becoming the Asian cross country champion at age 21.
