2023 Women's Professional Fastpitch Season
The 2023 WPF season was the first season of competition for the Women's Professional Fastpitch. Four WPF teams competed in this season:Smash It Sports Vipers, USSSA Pride, Oklahoma City Spark and Texas Smoke. League Business WPF announced the addition of Oklahoma City Spark as an expansion team for 2023. Seminole State College (Oklahoma), Seminole State College softball head coach Amber Flores will be their coach. On November 7 the Spark announced their home games would be played at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium. Jocelyn Alo was traded to Oklahoma City Spark by Smash It Sports Vipers in exchange for draft picks and cash considerations. Oh Jan 25, 2023, the Vipers announced their home stadium for the 2023 season will be Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Alabama. WPF announced the addition of a second expansion team for 2023 in Texas. Former MLB player Brandon Phillips is their owner. The team name was revealed be the Texas Smoke, with their home in Austin, Texas. Professional ...

Women's Professional Fastpitch
Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF) is a professional women's fastpitch softball league in the United States. The new league began its promotional campaign in 2021 and launched its inaugural season in June 2022. The league is unrelated to the defunct league that used the names National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) and Women's Pro Softball League (WPSL) along with Women's Professional Fastpitch. Gerry Glasco
Gerald Dean Glasco Jr. (born October 29, 1958) is an American college softball coach who is currently head coach at Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns softball, Louisiana and the Women's Professional Fastpitch team Smash It Sports Vipers. Previously, Glasco had been a high school softball coach, an assistant at Georgia Bulldogs softball, Georgia and Texas A&M Aggies softball, Texas A&M, and National Pro Fastpitch head coach with the USSSA Pride and Scrap Yard Dawgs. Early life and education Glasco was born in 1958 in Macomb, Illinois. He attended high school at Crab Orchard High School where he lettered in baseball and basketball. Brandon Emil Phillips (born June 28, 1981) is an American professional baseball second baseman and partial owner of the Lexington Legends of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Jocelyn Aloha Pumehana Alo (born September 23, 1998) is an American professional softball player for the Oklahoma City Spark of the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF). She played college softball player for the Oklahoma Sooners. As a freshman in 2018, she was named NFCA National Freshman of the Year, and named USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year in 2021 and 2022. She is the NCAA Division I career leader in home runs. Alo was drafted first overall by the Smash It Vipers in the inaugural WPF draft. High school career Alo attended James Campbell High School in ʻEwa Beach, Hawaii where she was a two-time Gatorade State High School Player of the Year and led her team to three state championships. Kelly Kretschman
Kelly Sue Kretschman (born August 26, 1979) is an American former nine-time professional All-Star softball outfielder and current head coach for the USSSA Pride of the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF). Kretschman played college softball at Alabama where she is the career leader in doubles and total bases. As a member of the United States women's national softball team, she won a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. USSSA Space Coast Complex is a baseball stadium and 13 diamond multi-sports facility in Viera, Florida, owned by Brevard County, Florida.
