2023 USL League One Season
The 2023 USL League One season will be the fifth season of USL League One. Twelve teams will participate in the 2023 season. Each team will play ten teams three times and the one remaining team twice for a total of 32 games. Top six teams will qualify for the playoffs. Lexington SC enters as an expansion team and One Knoxville SC joins from USL League Two. FC Tucson left to rejoin USL League Two. Tormenta FC are the defending champions, having defeated Chattanooga Red Wolves in the 2022 final. USL League One
USL League One (USL1) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that had its inaugural season in 2019. The Division III league is operated by United Soccer League, the same group that operates the Division II USL Championship and other leagues. As of 2023, the league has 12 teams who play 30 regular season games, followed by playoffs. Breese Stevens Municipal Athletic Field is a multi-purpose stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. Located eight blocks northeast of the Wisconsin State Capitol on the Madison Isthmus, it is the oldest extant masonry grandstand in Wisconsin. The field is named in honor of Breese J. Stevens (1834–1903), a mayor of Madison and a University of Wisconsin–Madison regent, on the wishes of his widow, who sold the land to the city. Jeff Korytoski
Jeffrey "Ziggy" Korytoski (born 1977) is an American professional soccer coach. Career Korytoski is currently the Sporting Director and Head Coach for ALBION San Diego. Prior to his time in charge he was the Director Tecnico (Head Coach) for Antigua GFC in Guatemala's Liga Nacional. Michael Jeffries (born May 20, 1962) is an American soccer coach and former player who is currently the head coach of Charlotte Independence in USL League One. The 1983 Hermann Trophy winner, he played professionally in the North American Soccer League and Major Indoor Soccer League, earning three caps with the U.S. national team.
