2023 Supersport World Championship
The 2023 Supersport World Championship was the twenty-seventh season of the Supersport World Championship, the twenty-fifth held under this name. The championship was won by Nicolò Bulega at the Portuguese round. Race calendar and results The provisional 2023 season calendar was announced on 8 November 2022. It was then updated on 28 February 2023 to announce the seventh round at Imola Circuit on 14–16 July. It was updated again on 24 July, the Argentinian round at Circuito San Juan Villicum was cancelled due to the political reasons. On 2 August, it was announced that Circuito de Jerez will be the Argentina Round's replacement, making it the track's return to the championship with the last one being held in 2021. The 2023 Superbike World Championship was the 36th season of the Superbike World Championship. The championship was won by Álvaro Bautista, who came into the season as the defending world champion. Mandalika International Street Circuit
Mandalika International Street Circuit (known as Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit for commercial purposes) is located in the Mandalika resort area on Lombok island, part of the West Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. The circuit opened by hosting rounds of the Asia Talent Cup and Superbike World Championship in late 2021, followed by Grand Prix motorcycle races in 2022. The sports cluster and entertainment project, measuring 120 hectares, is expected to include the construction of hotels and other facilities. Donington Park
Donington Park is a motorsport circuit located near Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England. The circuit business is now owned by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation, and the surrounding Donington Park Estate, still owned by the Wheatcroft family, is currently under lease by MotorSport Vision until 2038. It has a capacity of 120,000, and is also the venue of the Download Festival. Originally part of the Donington Hall estate, it was created as a racing circuit during the period between the First and Second World Wars when the German Silver Arrows were battling for the European Championship. Bahattin Sofuoğlu (born 19 August 2003) is a Turkish professional motorcycle racer, being the third generation member of the Sofuoğlu family in this sport. He competes in the Supersport World Championship for MV Agusta Reparto Corse on a F3 800 RR. Personal life Bahattin Sofuoğlu was born on 19 August 2003, and was named after his paternal cousin Bahattin Sofuoğlu (1978–2002), who died following a crash during a motorcycle race training.
