Sun Belt Conference
The Sun Belt Conference (SBC) is a collegiate athletic conference that has been affiliated with the NCAA's Division I since 1976. Boone is a town in and the county seat of Watauga County, North Carolina, United States. The 2023 Texas State Bobcats football team represented Texas State University as a member of the Sun Belt Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by first-year head coach G. J. Kinne and played their home games at Bobcat Stadium in San Marcos, Texas. The Bobcats finished the regular season 7–5, going 4–4 in Sun Belt play to finish second in the conference's West Division.
