The 2023 Southern Miss Golden Eagles football team represented the University of Southern Mississippi as a member of the Sun Belt Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. 2023 Texas State Bobcats Football Team
The 2023 Texas State Bobcats football team represented Texas State University as a member of the Sun Belt Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by first-year head coach G. J. Kinne and played their home games at Bobcat Stadium in San Marcos, Texas. The Bobcats finished the regular season 7–5, going 4–4 in Sun Belt play to finish second in the conference's West Division.
