2023 PFL Winter Cup
The 2023 PFL Winter Cup was one of friendly competitions which was introduced by the Ukrainian PFL in the 2022–23 season's "winter break intermission". The competition was organized by the Professional Football League of Ukraine. It was won by FC Livyi Bereh Kyiv. The competition started on 4 February 2023 and continued until 18 March 2023. On 19 December 2022 there took place a conference of the League's clubs and teams that confirmed their participation in the competition. Initially participation was confirmed by 8 teams from the PFL and 4 – amateurs. At the end only seven teams confirmed their participation 5 from PFL and 2 from amateurs. In interview to journalists the PFL president Oleksandr Kadenko explained that it was planned to organize tournament with group stage and playoffs and there were some 12-15 clubs interested to take part in the tournament.

Football Club Livyi Bereh Kyiv ( uk, Футбольний клуб «Лівий берег» Київ) is a Ukraine, Ukrainian football (soccer), football club from Kyiv. The club is based at the Kyiv's Osokorky neighborhood located at the left-bank of Dnieper, Dnipro, hence Livyi Bereh (left-bank). Professional Football League of Ukraine ( uk, Професіональна футбольна ліга України, translit=Profesionalna futbolna liha Ukrayiny; also known as PFL) is a sport organization and collective member of the Football Federation of Ukraine. Created in 1996 as a representative of professional clubs in Ukraine, since 2008 it only represents professional clubs of lower leagues (second and third tiers). Football Club Druzhba Myrivka ( uk, Футбольний клуб «Дружба») is a Ukrainian football club from the village of Myrivka, Kaharlyk urban community. The team is currently playing in the Ukrainian Amateur championship. History The team was founded in 1961 as a football team of the local collective farm "Druzhba". Football Club Kremin Kremenchuk ( uk , ФК Кремінь Кременчук; ru , Кремень Кременчуг, translit=Kremen Kremenchug) is a professional football club based in Kremenchuk, Ukraine. 2022–23 Ukrainian Second League
The 2022–23 Ukrainian Second League was the 32nd since its establishment. Summary Due to Russo-Ukrainian War, the Professional Football League of Ukraine (PFL) lost some 24 clubs. Out of 31 teams of the last season, only 4 remained for this season. The Second League was replenished with some teams from national amateur competitions as well as some clubs added their reserve teams. Unlike the last season, this season consisted of a single group of 10 with a standard double round-robin tournament. The top team would receive a direct promotion, while the runner-up contest promotion with the second to the last from the First League. With occupation of Kherson Oblast, the Russian occupational administration announced to create own club (Fregat) in place of FC Krystal Kherson. 2022–23 Ukrainian First League
The 2022–23 Ukrainian First League is the 32nd since its establishment. The league competition consisted of 16 teams. The competition is conducting during the ongoing war with the Russia since late February 2022. It was decided to conduct competitions in two groups. Format Due to the Russo-Ukrainian War, the league competitions changed its usual format. The Professional Football League of Ukraine (PFL) Conference adopted changes to the 2022–23 season after some 24 PFL teams were forced to suspend their activities or dissolve. 2022–23 Ukrainian Premier League
The 2022–23 Ukrainian Premier League season, referred to as the VBet Liha for sponsorship reasons, is the 32nd top-level football club competition since the fall of the Soviet Union and the 15th since the establishment of the Ukrainian Premier League. The defending champions are the 16-time winners Dynamo Kyiv. The previous 2021–22 season was abandoned due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
