2023 New England Patriots Season
The 2023 season was the New England Patriots' 54th season in the National Football League (NFL), their 64th overall, their 22nd playing home games at Gillette Stadium and their 24th and final under head coach Bill Belichick. The Patriots started 1–5 for the first time since 1995. Following their Week 12 loss to the New York Giants, the Patriots secured their second consecutive losing season, failing to improve on their 8–9 record from the previous year. This was the first time the Patriots had back-to-back losing seasons since 1992–1993. The Patriots missed the postseason for the second consecutive year (and third in four seasons) after the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Colts in Week 14. Following a Week 17 loss to the Buffalo Bills, the Patriots finished last in the AFC East for the first time since 2000. Damien Harris
Damien Harris (born February 11, 1997) is an American football running back for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at University of Alabama, Alabama and was selected by the Patriots in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Early years Harris attended Madison Southern High School in Berea, Kentucky. During his high school football career, he rushed for 6,748 yards with 122 touchdowns. He was rated by the Rivals.com recruiting network as a five-star recruit. Harris was ranked as the top running back and the eighth best overall player in his class. Tanielu "Daniel" Ekuale (born January 13, 1994) is a Samoan American football defensive tackle for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). Cody Davis
Cody Davis (born June 6, 1989) is an American football safety for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the St. Louis Rams in 2013. He also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played college football at Texas Tech.
