2023 Nepal Tri-Nation Series (round 21)
The 2023 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was the 21st, and last, round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament took place in Nepal in March 2023. It was a tri-nation series between Nepal, Papua New Guinea and the United Arab Emirates cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. The ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 formed part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup. Going into the final series of the League 2 tournament, Nepal required four wins from four games to claim the third and final automatic place in the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier, at the expense of Namibia. Squads Nepal named Kamal Singh Airee, Mousom Dhakal, Sundeep Jora and Arjun Saud as reserves in their squad. 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2
The 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 is the first edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, a cricket tournament which forms part of the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualification process. It is currently running from August 2019 to February 2023, with all matches played as One Day Internationals (ODIs). Each set of fixtures will take part as a tri-series. Scotland, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates were joined by the top four teams from the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament. The first round of fixtures was played in Aberdeen, Scotland in August 2019. The top three teams will advance to the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament, while the bottom four teams will have to go into the 2022 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off. Charles Amini
Charles Jordan Alewa Amini, also known as CJ Amini, (born 14 April 1992) is a Papua New Guinea cricketer. He is the son of Kune Amini and brother of Chris Amini, who both have also represented PNG. Playing career Charles led Papua New Guinea's successful campaign in the ICC East Asia-Pacific Under-15 Cricket 8's in 2006/07. Aarif Sheikh ( ne, आरिफ शेख्) (born 5 October 1997) is a Nepalese cricketer, who was the vice-captain of the Nepal national under-19 cricket team, and currently plays for the senior team. All-rounder Aarif is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against Hong Kong in May 2014. He represents the APF Club of the National League and GoldenGate International College, which plays in the SPA Cup.
