2023 Korn Ferry Tour Graduates
__NOTOC__ This is a list of golfers who graduated from the Korn Ferry Tour in 2023. The top 30 players on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour points list earned PGA Tour cards for 2024. The structure of the Korn Ferry Tour season and qualification for the PGA Tour was changed from what had been in place from 2013 to 2022, in which 25 cards had been awarded via the Korn Ferry Tour's regular-season points list and 25 more through the Korn Ferry Tour Finals points list. Under the new format, a single points list covered the entire Korn Ferry Tour season, including the Finals, and 30 cards were awarded; ten additional cards will be awarded via the European Tour and at least five through the revived PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament. Korn Ferry Tour
The Korn Ferry Tour is the developmental tour for the U.S.-based PGA Tour, and features professional golfers who have either not yet reached the PGA Tour, or who have done so but then failed to win enough FedEx Cup points to stay at that level. Those who are on the top 25 of the money list at year's end are given PGA Tour memberships for the next season. Since the 2013 season, the Korn Ferry Tour has been the primary pathway for those seeking to earn their PGA Tour card. Q-School, which had previously been the primary route for qualification to the PGA Tour, has been converted as an entryway to the Korn Ferry Tour. Sami Välimäki (born 16 July 1998) is a Finnish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. On his 6th European Tour start he won the 2020 Oman Open. Amateur career During 2018 Välimäki was selected for the Europe team in the Bonallack Trophy and for the Continent of Europe team in the St Andrews Trophy. He played for the Finnish team that won the 2018 European Amateur Team Championship and represented Finland in the 2018 Eisenhower Trophy. He reached as high as 10th in the World Amateur Golf Ranking during 2018. While still an amateur, Välimäki also played a number of Nordic Golf League events in during 2017 and 2018. Taylor Pendrith
Taylor Pendrith (born May 30, 1991) is a Canadian professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He won twice on PGA Tour Canada in 2019. Amateur career Pendrith attended Kent State University from 2010 to 2014. He made the cut in the 2014 Canadian Open and was the low amateur. He was part of the Canadian team that finished second, behind the United States, in the 2014 Eisenhower Trophy. The Byron Nelson is a golf tournament in Texas on the PGA Tour, currently hosted by TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, northeast of Dallas. Texas Children's Houston Open
The Cadence Bank Houston Open is a professional golf tournament in Texas on the PGA Tour, played in November. As a part of a restructuring of the schedule, the event moved to the fall in 2019. Because the tour year starts the previous fall, the event was not a part of the 2019 PGA Tour, but was one of the first events of the 2020 PGA Tour.
