2023 Kehoe Cup
The 2023 Kehoe Cup is an inter-county hurling competition in the province of Leinster, played by five county teams. It is the second level of Leinster/Ulster hurling pre-season competitions, below the 2023 Walsh Cup. It was won by , who won all four of their games. David Herity
David Herity (born 12 April 1983) is an Irish hurling manager and former hurler and Gaelic footballer. He is the manager of the Kildare senior hurling team. Herity played for Kilkenny Championship club Dunnamaggin and was a member of the Kilkenny senior hurling team for eight seasons, during which time he lined out as a goalkeeper. Herity began his hurling career at club level with Dunnamaggin. He broke onto the club's top adult team as a 17-year-old in 2000 and enjoyed his greatest success that year when the club won the Kilkenny Intermediate Championship title. Herity also played Gaelic football with the Kilmoganny club. At inter-county level, Herity was part of the successful Kilkenny minor team that won Leinster Championship titles in 1999 and 2001 before later winning back-to-back All-Ireland Championships with the under-21 team in 2003 and 2004. James Burke (born 1999) is an Irish people, Irish Hurling, hurler who plays as a left corner-forward for the Kildare GAA, Kildare senior team. Burke made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he was selected for the Kildare minor team as a dual player. He enjoyed two unsuccessful championship seasons in this grade. Tom Mullally
Tom Mullally is a hurling coach who has been manager of Carlow since January 2021. He is from the village of Glenmore in County Kilkenny and is a brother of Richie and Paddy Mullally. He coached Kilkenny GAA club Clara to the 2013 Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship, the club's first for nearly three decades. He brought Mount Leinster Rangers to the 2013 Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship and the final of the 2013–14 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, in the last of which Portumna defeated his team. The 2022 Kehoe Cup was an inter-county hurling competition in the province of Leinster, played by four county teams. It was the second level of Leinster hurling pre-season competitions, below the 2022 Walsh Cup. It took place on 16–30 January 2022. Hurling ( ga, iománaíocht, ') is an outdoor team game of ancient Gaelic Irish origin, played by men. A county is a geographic region within Gaelic games, controlled by a county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and originally based on the 32 counties of Ireland as they were in 1884.
