2023 J.League Cup
The 2023 J.League Cup, known as the 2023 J.League Yamazaki Baking, YBC Levain Cup ( ja, 2023 JリーグYBCルヴァンカップ) for sponsorship reasons, was the 31st edition of J.League Cup, a Japanese association football single-elimination tournament, cup competition. Unlike previous editions, the competition did not use the away goals rule. No byes awarded for the knockout stage and thus no knockout round playoffs. Sanfrecce Hiroshima were the defending champions, having beaten Cerezo Osaka 2022 J.League Cup final, 2–1 in the 2022 J.League Cup, 2022 final to win their first J.League Cup title. They were unable to defend their title after their elimination in the group stage. Avispa Fukuoka won their first ever major trophy by defeating two-time winners Urawa Red Diamonds in the final. Avispa Fukuoka
is a Japanese professional football club, currently competing in the J1 League. The team is located in Hakata, Fukuoka. "Avispa" means "wasp" in Spanish. They were originally called Fujieda Blux and based in Fujieda, Shizuoka before moving to Fukuoka in 1994. 2023–24 AFC Champions League
The 2023–24 AFC Champions League will be the 42nd edition of Asia's premier club association football, football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the 21st under the current AFC Champions League title. This season is the first to have an inter-year schedule from September (autumn-to-spring) instead of an intra-year schedule (spring-to-autumn) since the 2002–03 AFC Champions League, 2002–03 season. This edition sees an increase in numbers of preliminary players with 35 players able to be registered; teams will be able to field six foreign players in games, where one of these players must still be from another Asian nation. Sagan Tosu
is a Japanese professional football club, currently playing in the J1 League. The team is located in Tosu, Saga Prefecture. ''Sagan'' is a coined word with a couple of meanings behind it. J3 League
or simply J3 is the third division of . It was established in 2013 as the third-tier professional association football league in Japan. The third-tier nationwide league is a relatively recent development in Japanese football with a first attempt made in 1992 (second division of the old JFL), though it only lasted for two seasons.
