2023 International GT Open
The 2023 International GT Open was the eighteenth season of the International GT Open, the grand tourer-style sports car racing series founded in 2006 by the Spanish GT Sport Organización. It began on 30 April at the Algarve International Circuit and will end at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 22 October after seven rounds of two races each. Entry list Race calendar and results Championship standings Points systems Points are awarded to the top 10 (Pro) or top 6 (Am, Pro-Am, Teams) classified finishers. If less than 6 participants start the race or if less than 75% of the original race distance is completed, half points are awarded. For the Endurance Race (Spa) points are multiplied by 2. At the end of the season, the 2 lowest race scores are dropped; if the points dropped are those obtained in the Endurance Race, that will count as 2 races; however, the dropped races cannot be the result of disqualification or race bans. 2023 Euroformula Open Championship
The 2023 Euroformula Open Championship is a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seater open wheel formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship features drivers competing in Euroformula Open Championship specification Dallara 320 chassis cars. It is the tenth Euroformula Open Championship season. The season consists of seven race weekends, started in late April and will span until October. Teams and drivers All teams utilize the Dallara 320 chassis. The 2023 season was scheduled to see a body kit upgrade for the chassis as well as the introduction of larger 17-inch tyres, but these plans were later scrapped. The tyre supplier was originally changed from Michelin to Hankook Tire, Hankook, before being changed again to Pirelli ahead of the second round of the season. Loris Kessel (1 April 1950 – 15 May 2010) was a racing driver from Switzerland. Biography He was born in Lugano and died in Montagnola following a long illness. He participated in six Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on 2 May 1976. He scored no championship points. In 1976, he drove a Brabham for RAM, and in 1977 he drove his own Apollon- Williams, although this car was not a success. Kessel ran a series of car dealerships in Switzerland and his own racing team, competing in Ferrari Challenge series in Italy and the main European series. Christopher Haase (born 26 September 1987 in Kulmbach) is a German professional racing driver. He became the FIA GT3 European Champion in 2009, racing for Lamborghini and Reiter Engineering, and raced in GT1 for the first time in 2010. Maximilian Paul (born 14 February 2000) is a German racing driver who currently competes in the DTM for his own team Paul Motorsport. Career Karting Paul started karting in 2011. He has competed in the KZ2 category of the CIK-FIA Karting European Championship and WSK Super Master Series as a factory driver of DR Racing Kart. Pierre-Louis Chovet (born 11 April 2002) is a French racing driver. Career Karting Pierre-Louis Chovet practiced many sports during his childhood such as skiing, BMX or tennis. He attended the 2011 Monaco Grand Prix and quickly developed a passion for motorsports. He quickly discovered karting, by participating in PACA-Corsica regional championships, where he won the Cadet title in 2015. The following year, he finished second in the French Cup in Cadets. Albert Costa Balboa (born 2 May 1990 in Barcelona) is a Spanish racing driver who currently competes in the Blancpain GT Series. Career Karting Costa started his international karting career in 2004, in the Copa Campeones Trophy for ICA Junior class karts, finishing in seventh position. He continued in the same class in 2005, with the exception of the Copa Campeones Trophy, where he competed in the ICA class. Thomas Neubauer (born 8 June 1999) is a French professional racing driver.
