2023 French Open – Men's Doubles
Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek defeated Sander Gillé and Joran Vliegen in the final, 6–3, 6–1 to win the men's doubles tennis title at the 2023 French Open. It was Dodig's third major men's doubles title and Krajicek's first, and their first major title as a team. Marcelo Arévalo and Jean-Julien Rojer were the defending champions, but lost in the quarterfinals to Matwé Middelkoop and Andreas Mies. Krajicek usurped Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski for the individual men's doubles world No. 1 ranking. Rajeev Ram, Lloyd Glasspool, Harri Heliövaara, and Jan Zieliński were also in contention for the top ranking at the beginning of the tournament. Ivan Dodig
Ivan Dodig (; born 2 January 1985) is a Croatian professional tennis player who primarily specialises in doubles. He is a six-time Grand Slam champion, having won men's doubles titles at the 2015 French Open with Marcelo Melo, and the 2021 Australian Open with Filip Polášek. In mixed doubles, Dodig won the 2018 and 2019 French Opens and 2019 Wimbledon Championships, all alongside Latisha Chan, and the 2022 Australian Open partnering Kristina Mladenovic. He also finished runner-up at the 2013 Wimbledon Championships in men's doubles, and the 2016 French Open and 2017 Australian Open in mixed. Mate Pavić (; born 4 July 1993) is a Croatian professional tennis player who is a former world No. 1 in doubles. He is a five-time Grand Slam champion, having won three titles in men's doubles: the 2018 Australian Open with Oliver Marach, the 2020 US Open with Bruno Soares, and the 2021 Wimbledon Championships with Nikola Mektić. Pavić also won mixed doubles titles at the 2016 US Open with Laura Siegemund, and the 2018 Australian Open with Gabriela Dabrowski. Tim Pütz (; born 19 November 1987) is a German professional tennis player who specialises in doubles. He reached his career-high doubles ranking of world No. 7 on 29 August 2022, and has won seven doubles titles on the ATP Tour, most notably the 2021 Paris Masters alongside Michael Venus. Pütz has also reached three Grand Slam quarterfinals in doubles. Kevin Krawietz (born 24 January 1992) is a German professional tennis player who specialises in doubles. He is a two-time Grand Slam champion, having won the French Open doubles title in both 2019 and 2020 alongside compatriot Andreas Mies. The pair were also semifinalists at the 2019 US Open.
