2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup
The 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup was the fourth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup, an annual men's international volleyball tournament contested by eight national teams that acts as a qualifier for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League. The tournament was held at Aspire Zone, Aspire Ladies Sports Hall in Doha, Qatar, between 28 and 30 July 2023. Four teams made their first appearance in the men's Challenger Cup in this edition: China men's national volleyball team, China, the Dominican Republic men's national volleyball team, Dominican Republic, Thailand men's national volleyball team, Thailand and Ukraine men's national volleyball team, Ukraine. Qatar Men's National Volleyball Team
The Qatar men's national volleyball team represents Qatar in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches. As of 20 September 2021, the team was ranked 20th in the world. Qatar's best rank in Asian Championship 3rd place, 2023 year. History Qatar first appeared at the Asian Volleyball Championship in 1989. 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup
The 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup was the second edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup, an annual men's international volleyball tournament contested by 6 national teams that acts as a qualifier for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League. The tournament was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia from 3 to 7 July 2019. Slovenia won the title, defeating Cuba in the final, and earned the right to participate in the 2020 Nations League replacing Portugal, the last placed challenger team after the 2019 edition. Belarus defeated Turkey in the 3rd place match. On 8 May 2020, FIVB announced that the 2020 Nations League and 2020 Challenger Cup was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. 2023 Men's European Volleyball League
The 2023 Men's European Volleyball League is the 19th edition of the annual Men's European Volleyball League, which features men's national volleyball teams from 18 European countries. The tournament has two divisions: the Golden League, which features twelve teams, and the Silver League with six teams. 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup Qualification (NORCECA)
The North American section of the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup qualification acted as a qualifier for the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup, for national teams which are members of the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA). The tournament was held in Pinar del Río, Cuba from 3 to 5 June 2022. The winners Cuba qualified for the 2023 Challenger Cup. But, as Cuba later won the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup and qualified for the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League, the runners-up Dominican Republic succeeded to the 2023 Challenger Cup qualification.
