2023 Extremaduran Regional Election
The 2023 Extremaduran regional election was held on Sunday, 28 May 2023, to elect the 11th Assembly of Extremadura, Assembly of the Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community of Extremadura. All 65 seats in the Assembly were up for election. The election was held simultaneously with 2023 Spanish regional elections, regional elections in eleven other Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous communities and 2023 Spanish local elections, local elections all throughout Spain. The Assembly of Extremadura (Spanish: ''Asamblea de Extremadura''; also called ''Parlamento de Extremadura'') is the elected unicameral legislature of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. The electoral period is four years. The Assembly of Extremadura is seated at the old Hospital of San Juan de Dios, in Mérida, the capital of the autonomous community. The session room features a 5th-century mosaic found in 1978 near the Roman Theatre.
