2023 Copa Verde
The 2023 Copa Verde is the 10th edition of the football competition held in Brazil. Featuring 24 clubs, Acre, Amazonas, Distrito Federal, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso, Pará and Tocantins have two vacancies; Amapá, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondônia and Roraima with one each. The others five berths was set according to CBF ranking. The champion will have a spot in the third round of the 2024 Copa do Brasil. Qualified teams Schedule The schedule of the competition is as follows. Bracket In the first round and round of 16, each tie was played on a single-legged basis. The higher-ranked team hosted the match. If the score was level, the match would go straight to the penalty shoot-out to determine the winner. From the quarter-finals, each tie was played on a home-and-away two-legged basis. The higher-ranked team hosted the second match. The Campeonato Amazonense, officially Campeonato Amazonense de Futebol Profissional, is the football championship for professional clubs of the state of Amazonas, Brazil. Format The 2021 Campeonato Amazonense is divided into two stages: First Stage *Standard round-robin, in which all teams play each other once. The worst two teams of the stage are relegated to the second division, while the other eight teams advance to the second stage. Second Stage *The best teams play a two-legged knockout stage, with the best placed team of the match having the second leg at home. The winner of the Finals is declared the champion. The Campeonato Amapaense, commonly known simply as Amapazão, is the football league of the State of Amapá, Brazil. It is organized by the Amapá State Football Federation.
