2023 Constellation Cup
The 2023 Constellation Cup was the 13th Constellation Cup series between Australia and New Zealand. It featured four netball test matches, played in October 2023. The Australia team were coached by Stacey Marinkovich and captained by Liz Watson. The New Zealand team were coached by Noeline Taurua and captained by Ameliaranne Ekenasio. The second test was Australia's 500th international test match. Australia won the first two tests and led 2–0 going into the third test. However, New Zealand won the third and fourth tests to level the series at 2–2. Australia were declared the series winners and retained the Constellation Cup based on aggregate score score. Sky Sport (New Zealand)
Sky Sport is a group of sports-oriented television channels operated by New Zealand's satellite pay-TV company, Sky. History Sky Sport 1 is the original Sky Television sport channel in New Zealand. It was first introduced in 1990 as Sky Sport on the Sky UHF service. When Sky Sport began it operated between the hours of noon and around midnight, and occasionally screened live sports events outside these hours. Melbourne Vixens
Melbourne Vixens is an Australian netball team based in Melbourne, Victoria. Since 2017 they have represented Netball Victoria in Suncorp Super Netball. Between 2008 and 2016, they played in the ANZ Championship. The team was formed in 2007 when Netball Victoria merged its two former Commonwealth Bank Trophy league teams, Melbourne Phoenix and Melbourne Kestrels. Karin Burger
Karin Burger (born 12 April 1993) is a New Zealand netball international. She was a member of the New Zealand teams that won the 2019 Netball World Cup and the 2021 Constellation Cup. Burger has also played for both Central Pulse and Mainland Tactix in the ANZ Premiership. She was a member of the Pulse teams that won 2019 and 2020 ANZ Premiership titles. While playing for Tactix, she was named 2021 ANZ Premiership Player of the Year. Early life and family Burger was born and raised in South Africa. Her family home is in Vredendal, Western Cape. Joanna Weston
Joanna Weston (born 14 February 1994) is an Australian netball player for the Australian Diamonds and Melbourne Vixens in the Suncorp Super Netball league. She was part of the Diamonds side that won silver at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Weston has been a member of the Diamonds squad since her debut at the Constellation Cup in 2015. She was also in the Australian team at the 2019 Netball World Cup, finishing runners up to New Zealand. Weston was named ''Goal Defender of the Year'' and ''Player of the Finals'' in the 2017 Suncorp Super Netball season. She was in the Vixens side that won the premiership in the 2022 season. Jamie-Lee Price (born 10 January 1996) is an Australian netball player who has played for Giants Netball in the Suncorp Super Netball league since 2017. Prior to that, Price was with the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic in the ANZ Championship. She was the youngest player in the trans-Tasman championship as of January 2013. Kate Moloney
Kate Moloney is an Australian netballer who plays for the Melbourne Vixens in the Suncorp Super Netball league. As of April 2017, she is the captain of the Vixens. Moloney made her domestic league netball debut for the Vixens in 2013 and was appointed captain of the team four years later. Cara Koenen
Cara Koenen (born 27 February 1996) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for the Sunshine Coast Lightning. Koenan was a foundation player at the Lightning ahead of the club's inaugural season in 2017. She has remained at the club since that time and was most recently re-signed for the 2020 season. Paige Amber Hadley (born 26 August 1992) is an Australian international netball player. Primarily a wing attack and centre player, Hadley is a member of the Australian national team and plays in the ANZ Championship for the New South Wales Swifts.
