2023 Clásica De Almería
The 2023 Clásica de Almería was the 38th edition of the Clásica de Almería one-day road cycling race. It was held on 12 February 2023 as a category 1. Pro race on the 2023 UCI ProSeries. Teams 11 of the 18 UCI WorldTeams and 10 UCI ProTeams made up the 21 teams that participated in the race. All teams entered a full squad of seven riders each. In total, 145 riders started the race, of which 140 finished. 2023 UCI ProSeries
The 2023 UCI ProSeries is the fourth season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road bicycle racing, road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. Juan Sebastián Molano Benavides (born 11 April 1994) is a Colombian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Molano was named in the startlist for the 2017 Vuelta a España. He started riding in the 2019 Giro d'Italia, but he was suspended by his team following stage 3 after "seemingly unusual physiological results". The team refrained from commenting further until more tests were carried out. Molano did not start stage 4. Molano was later cleared to resume racing at the Adriatica Ionica Race in late-July 2019 after further tests found he was "highly sensitive to altitude changes." Fernando Gaviria Rendón (born 19 August 1994) is a Colombian professional road and track racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He is well known as a sprinter. Riding for the Colombian national cycling team, Gaviria came to international attention at the 2015 Tour de San Luis, where he beat former world champion Mark Cavendish in two sprint finishes. Maximilian Richard "Max" Walscheid (born 13 June 1993) is a German cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Walscheid was born in Neuwied.
