2023 Basque Foral Elections
The 2023 Basque foral elections was held on Sunday, 28 May 2023 to elect the 12th General Assemblies (Juntas Generales), General Assemblies of Álava, Biscay and Gipuzkoa. All 153 seats in the three General Assemblies were up for election. The elections were held simultaneously with 2023 Spanish regional elections, regional elections in twelve Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous communities and 2023 Spanish local elections, local elections all throughout Spain. Podemos (Spanish Political Party)
Podemos (, translated in English as "We Can"), * ca, Podem, * gl, Podemos, is a left-wing populist political party in Spain. Basque Government
The Basque Government ( eu, Eusko Jaurlaritza, es, Gobierno Vasco) is the governing body of the Basque Autonomous Community of Spain. The head of the Basque government is known as the ''Lehendakari''. The Lehendakari is appointed by the Basque Parliament every four years, after a regional election. Its headquarters are located in the Lakua district of Vitoria-Gasteiz in Álava. The first Basque Government was created after the approval of the first Basque Statute of Autonomy on 1 October 1936, in the midst of the Spanish Civil War. "None of the above" (NOTA), or none for short, also known as "against all" or a "scratch" vote, is a ballot option in some jurisdictions or organizations, designed to allow the voter to indicate disapproval of the candidates in a voting system. It is based on the principle that consent requires the ability to withhold consent in an election, just as they can by voting "No" on ballot questions. Vox (political Party)
Vox (Latin for "voice", often stylized as VOX; ) is a national-conservative political party in Spain. Equo
Greens Equo (and formerly Q or eQuo) is a Spanish political party founded on 4 June 2011, when 35 Spanish green parties agreed to merge into Equo. It began as a foundation on 24 September 2010 with the goal of becoming "the seed and source of debate about political ecology and social equity, originating a sociopolitical movement". The first election it contested was the 2011 Spanish general election, obtaining 216,748 votes (0.9%), making it the 9th most supported party. The party was fifth in Madrid, achieving representation thanks to the Valencian coalition Compromís-Q, in which Equo participated.
