2023 Australian Open – Mixed Doubles
Luisa Stefani and Rafael Matos defeated Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna in the final, 7–6(7–2), 6–2 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2023 Australian Open. They became the first Brazilian pair to win the title in the Open Era, and Stefani became the first Brazilian woman to win a mixed doubles major title since Maria Bueno at the 1960 French Championships. This tournament marked the final major appearance of three-time mixed doubles major champion Mirza. Kristina Mladenovic and Ivan Dodig were the reigning champions, but Dodig chose not to defend his title. Mladenovic partnered with Juan Sebastián Cabal, but lost in the second round to Maddison Inglis and Jason Kubler. Luisa Veras Stefani (born 9 August 1997) is a Brazilian professional tennis player. She is the first Brazilian woman to crack the WTA top 10. She made the milestone on 1 November 2021 when she rose two places to world No. 9 in doubles. On 20 May 2019, she reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 431. She had a career-high combined junior ranking of No. 10, on 30 March 2015. Stefani is a bronze medalist in women's doubles from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Max Purcell (born 3 April 1998) is an Australian professional tennis player. He won his first Grand Slam title at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships in doubles alongside Matthew Ebden. Gabriela "Gaby" Dabrowski (; pl, Dąbrowska, ; born April 1, 1992) is a Canadian professional tennis player. She reached her best singles ranking of world No. 164 by the WTA on November 3, 2014 and her highest doubles ranking of world No. 4 on July 11, 2022. Jean-Julien Rojer (; ; born 25 August 1981) is a Dutch professional tennis player from Curaçao, who specialises in doubles. He reached his career-high doubles ranking of world No. 3 in November 2015. Harri Heliövaara (born 4 June 1989) is a Finnish tennis player. His highest ranking in singles is World No. 194, which he achieved on 19 December 2011.
