2023 Atlanta United FC Season
The 2023 Atlanta United FC season was the seventh season of Atlanta United FC's existence, and the fifteenth year that a professional soccer club from Atlanta, Georgia competing in the top division of American soccer. Atlanta United play their home games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Outside of MLS, they competed in the 2023 U.S. Open Cup and also participated in the 2023 Leagues Cup for the first time. Atlanta United FC
Atlanta United FC, commonly known as Atlanta United, is an American professional soccer club based in Atlanta that competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the league's Eastern Conference. Founded in 2014, Atlanta United began play as an MLS expansion team in 2017, as the twenty-second team in the league. It is the first MLS franchise to be based in Atlanta, and the club plays home games at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which they share with the city's National Football League (NFL) franchise, the Atlanta Falcons. Miles Robinson (soccer)
Miles Gordon Robinson (born March 14, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a center-back for Major League Soccer club Atlanta United and the United States national team. Born in Arlington, Massachusetts, Robinson began his career with FC Boston Bolts before playing college soccer with the Syracuse Orange. After two seasons with Syracuse, Robinson was drafted with the second overall pick in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft by expansion club Atlanta United. He initially did not feature for the side, and was loaned out to the Charleston Battery in 2017, followed by reserve affiliate Atlanta United 2 in 2018. Real Salt Lake, often shortened to RSL, is an American professional soccer franchise based in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. The club competes as a member club of Major League Soccer (MLS) in the Western Conference. RSL began play in 2005 as an expansion team of the league. The club was founded in 2004 when the club's first owner and founder was awarded an expansion berth in Major League Soccer. Brooks Howard Lennon (born September 22, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a winger and right-back for Major League Soccer club Atlanta United. Ronald José Hernández Pimentel (born 21 September 1997) is a Venezuelan professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Major League Soccer club Atlanta United and the Venezuela national team.
