2023 ATX Open
The 2023 ATX Open is a WTA 250 tournament organised for female professional tennis players on outdoor hard courts as part of the 2023 WTA Tour. The event takes place at The Venue ATX in Austin, United States, from 27 February through 5 March 2023, marking a return of WTA Tour to Texas after an eleven-year absence. WTA 250 Tournaments
WTA 250 tournaments is a category of tennis tournaments in the Women's Tennis Association tour, implemented since the reorganization of the schedule in 2021. Earlier these events were classified as WTA International tournaments, WTA International Tournaments. As of 2021, WTA 250 tournaments include events with prize money of approximately $250,000. The ranking points awarded to the winners of these tournaments are 280. This compares to 2,000 points for winning a Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournament ("major"), up to 1,500 points for winning the WTA Finals, 1000 points for winning a WTA 1000 tournament, and 470 for winning a WTA 500 tournament. This system differs slightly from that used for the men's ATP Tour, which has ATP Tour 250 events with 250 points for the winner (similar to WTA 250 tournaments), and two higher tiers of ATP tournaments offer 1000 and 500 points for winning, respectively. Elizabeth Mandlik
Elizabeth Hana Mandlik (born 19 May 2001) is an American tennis player. She is the daughter of Grand Slam tennis champion Hana Mandlíková. Mandlik has career-high rankings by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) of world No. 119 in singles and world No. 187 in doubles, both achieved on 7 November 2022. Dart entered the WTA top 100 for the first time in March 2022 and achieved her career-high singles ranking of 84 on 25 July 2022.
