2022–23 Women's EHF Champions League Group Stage
The 2022–23 Women's EHF Champions League group stage was played between 10 September 2022 and 12 February 2023 to determine the twelve teams advancing to the knockout stage of the 2022–23 Women's EHF Champions League. Draw The draw was held on 1 July 2022 in Vienna, Austria. Seeding The composition of the seeding pots for the group stage draw was announced on 28 June 2022. From each pot, two teams were drawn into Group A and the other two in Group B. Teams from the same national association could not be drawn into the same group. Format In each group, teams played against each other in a double round-robin format, with home and away matches. Tiebreakers In the group stage, teams were ranked according to points (2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss). 2022–23 Women's EHF Champions League
The 2022–23 Women's EHF Champions League is the 30th edition of Europe's premier club handball tournament, running from September 2022 to 4 June 2023. Format The tournament will run using the same format as the previous two seasons. The competition begins with a group stage featuring sixteen teams divided into two groups. Matches are played in a double round-robin system with home-and-away fixtures, fourteen in total for each team. In Groups A and B, the top two teams automatically qualify for the quarter-finals, with teams ranked 3rd to 6th entering the playoff round. The knockout stage includes four rounds: the playoffs, quarter-finals, and a final-four tournament comprising two semifinals and the final. Clubul Sportiv Municipal București, also known as CSM București, CSM or CSM Bucharest, is a women's handball team based in Bucharest, Romania, that competes in the Liga Naţională and the EHF Champions League. Group A
Group A is a set of motorsport regulations administered by the FIA covering production derived vehicles intended for competition, usually in touring car racing and rallying. In contrast to the short-lived Group B and Group C, Group A vehicles were limited in terms of power, weight, allowed technology and overall cost. Group A was aimed at ensuring numerous entries in races of privately owned vehicles. The 2022–23 Women's EHF Champions League knockout stage began on 18 March with the playoffs and ended on 4 June 2023 with the final at the MVM Dome in Budapest, Hungary, to decide the winners of the 2022–23 Women's EHF Champions League. A total of twelve teams competed in the knockout phase. Format In the playoffs, the eight teams ranked 2nd–6th in Groups A and B played against each other in two-legged home-and-away matches.
