2022–23 Syracuse Orange Women's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Syracuse Orange women's basketball team represented Syracuse University during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Orange were led by first-year head coach Felisha Legette-Jack. The Orange were tenth year members of the Atlantic Coast Conference and played their home games at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York. Prior to the season beginning Felisha Legette-Jack was announced as the head coach at Syracuse. She took over from interim head coach Von Read. The Orange finished the season 20–13 overall and 9–9 in ACC play to finish in a tie for eighth place. As the ninth seed in the ACC tournament, the received a bye to the Second Round, where they lost to NC State. They received an at-large bid to the WNIT. Felisha Legette-Jack
Felisha Legette-Jack (born September 4, 1966) is the current head coach of the Syracuse University's women basketball team. She previously served as the head coach at the University at Buffalo, Indiana University, and Hofstra University's women basketball teams. Early life and education Coming from a athletically gifted family, Legette-Jack first came to prominence at Nottingham Senior High School in the mid 1980s. Her brother, Ronnie, had led the Bulldogs to a state championship earlier, but Felisha went one better, leading the Lady Bulldogs to two state titles before going on to star at Syracuse University. At Syracuse, Legette-Jack scored 1,526 points, grabbed 927 rebounds, and graduated as the all-time leading scorer and rebounder in program history. As of 2021, she ranks fifth in scoring and third in rebounds. 2021–22 Clemson Tigers Women's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Clemson Tigers women's basketball team represented Clemson University during the 2021–22 college basketball season. The Tigers were led by fourth year head coach Amanda Butler. The Tigers, members of the Atlantic Coast Conference, played their home games at Littlejohn Coliseum. During the offseason, assistant coach Shimmy Gray-Miller left Clemson to become assistant coach at Minnesota. The Tigers hired Priscilla Edwards as her replacement. The Tigers finished the season 10–21 and 3–15 in ACC play to finish in thirteenth place. The Seattle U Redhawks women's basketball is the women's basketball team representing Seattle University. They compete in the Western Athletic Conference. The South Florida Bulls women's basketball team represents the University of South Florida in women's basketball.
