The 2022–23 season is the sixth season in Real Kashmir FC's existence, and their fifth season in I-League. This season of the I-League witnesses the return of the home-away format of the matches similar to that of the 2019–20 I-League season after a break of two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. Real Kashmir FC is an Indian professional football club based in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, Club competes in both the I-League, and J&K Premier Football League. Nicknamed ''Snow Leopards'', it is the first ever club from Jammu and Kashmir that earned its promotion to compete in any top flight football league of the country. Joyner Monte Lourenco (born 8 September 1991) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender. Club career Born in Goa, Lourenco began his career with Goa Velha, a local club in the state. In 2010, Lourenco joined professional I-League side Sporting Goa.
