2022–23 Manchester United W.F.C. Season
The 2022–23 season is Manchester United Women's fifth season since they were founded and their fourth in the Women's Super League, the professional top-flight women's league in England. The club will also compete in the FA Cup and League Cup. For the third successive season, Manchester United Women scheduled a game at Old Trafford, this time on 3 December 2022 against Aston Villa. A second game at Old Trafford was also scheduled for the first time against West Ham United on 25 March 2023. Pre-season and friendlies Having had an earlier friendly against Championship side Blackburn Rovers cancelled, Manchester United began pre-season with a behind-closed-doors friendly against fellow WSL club Liverpool at Carrington on 13 August. FC Bayern Munich is a German women's football team based in Munich, Bavaria. It currently plays in the Frauen-Bundesliga, the top women's league in Germany. Leah Danielle Galton (born 24 May 1994) is an English footballer who currently plays as a forward for Women's Super League club Manchester United. Trafford Training Centre (usually referred to by the synecdoche of Carrington) is the training ground and academy headquarters of English football club Manchester United F.C. It is near the village of Carrington, Greater Manchester, England, and replaced The Cliff as the club's training ground in 2000.
