2022–23 Kosovar Cup
The 2022–23 Kosovar Cup is the football knockout competition of Kosovo in the 2022–23 season. Preliminary Rounds Bracket First Round The draw for the First Round was held on 7 October 2022 in the offices of the Football Federation of Kosovo. Only 10 teams from the Second League and the Third League of Kosovo participated in this round. Second Round The draw for the Second Round was held on 14 October 2022. A total of 5 teams participated in this round with Opoja receiving a bye into the Third Round. All matches were played on 19 October 2022. Third Round Only 3 teams participated in this round. Behar advanced into the Round of 32 without playing a match. Round of 32 The draw for the Round of 32 took place on 11 November 2022, 13:00 CET. Klubi Futbollistik Llapi (), commonly known as Llapi, is a professional football club based in Podujevë, Kosovo. The club play in the Football Superleague of Kosovo, which is the top tier of football in the country. History KF Llapi was founded on 5 July 1932, becoming the oldest club in Podujevë. Bye (sport)
In sport, a bye is the preferential status of a player or team that is automatically advanced to the next round of a tournament, without having to play an opponent in an early round. In knockout (elimination) tournaments they can be granted either to reward the highest ranked participant(s) or assigned randomly, to make a working bracket if the number of participants is not a power of two (e.g. 16 or 32). In round-robin tournaments, usually one competitor gets a bye in each round when there are an odd number of competitors, as it is impossible for all competitors to play in the same round. However, over the whole tournament, each plays the same number of games as well as sitting out for the same number of rounds. The club was founded in 1922, and currently play their home games at the Ferki Aliu Stadium in the city of Vushtrri which has a capacity of 6,000 supporters. Overtime (sports)
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament.
