2022–23 Kategoria E Parë
The 2022–23 Kategoria e Parë is the 75th official season of the Albanian football second-tier since its establishment. The season began in 3 September 2022 and will end in 6 May 2023. There are 14 teams competing this season. The winning and runner-up teams will gain promotion to the 2023–24 Kategoria Superiore. The promotion play-offs winner will play a promotion play-off match against the 8th ranked team of the 2022–23 Kategoria Superiore. Kategoria e Parë is the second level of professional football in Albania, behind the Kategoria Superiore and above the Kategoria e Dytë. Format Kategoria e Parë was founded in 1930. It is made up of 14 teams. The 2 best ranked teams gain promotion to the Kategoria Superiore, while the teams ranked from the 3rd to the 6th position qualify to a play-off tournament where the winner then plays a promotion play-off match against the 8th ranked team of Kategoria Superiore. Kavajë ( , sq-definite, Kavaja) is a municipality centrally located in the Western Lowlands region of Albania, in Tirana County. It borders Durrës to the north , Tiranë to the east and Rrogozhinë to the south . To the west lies the Adriatic Sea. Loni Papuçiu Stadium
Loni Papuçiu Stadium ( sq, Stadiumi Loni Papuçiu) is a multi-use stadium in Fier, Albania which is used as the home ground of local football club Apolonia Fier, Apolonia. It was built in 1958 and has been the Apolonia's home ground ever since. The stadium has a seated capacity of 6,800. The stadium was reconstructed in 2013, and was completed 7 months later in February 2014 in time for a home fixture against Ada Velipojë, Ada on 15 February 2014. Fier (; sq-definite, Fieri) is the seventh most populous city of the Republic of Albania and seat of Fier County and Fier Municipality. It is situated on the bank of Gjanica River in the Myzeqe Plain between the Seman in the north, the Vjosë in the south and the foothills of the Mallakastra Mountains in the southeast. KS Korabi is an Albanian football club based in Peshkopi, named after the nearby Mount Korab, which is the tallest mountain in Albania and North Macedonia. The club's home ground is the Korabi Stadium. Klubi i Futbollit Besa is a professional Albanian football club based in Kavajë. It is currently competing in Kategoria e Parë, the 2nd tier of Albanian football. They play their home games at Besa Stadium. KF Luzi I Vogël 2008
KF Luzi i Vogël 2008 is an Albanian football (soccer) club based in Luz i Vogël, Kavajë. The club was founded in 2008 and is currently competing in Kategoria e Parë which is the 2nd tier of Albanian football. During the club's first ever season they managed a respectable 4th-place finish (in the Second Category). History Luzi United played its first ever competitive game against KF Erzeni in the Second Division Group A on 21 September 2008. The match itself was not a great moment in the club's history as they lost 2–0 away from home. The next two games in the season were also away from home which meant that Luzi would not earn a single point in the first four games of the season. KF Shkumbini
KF Shkumbini is an Albanian football club based in the city of Peqin. The club's home ground is the Shkumbini Stadium and they compete in the Kategoria e Dytë. History Football was first introduced to the city of Peqin in the early 1920s after an army officer from Shkodër brought along a ball with him. An amateur club was formed in 1924 by Adem Bedali and other local men who had begun playing football. In the club's infancy they played friendly games with teams from other cities in Albania, before the creation of the Albanian Football Association in 1930 who organised the first official football competitions in the country. KS Pogradeci ( sq, Klubi Sportiv Pogradeci) is a professional football club based in Pogradec, Albania. The club plays in the Kategoria e Dytë, which is the third tier of football in the country.
