Kieler Sportvereinigung Holstein von 1900 e.V., simply as KSV Holstein or Kieler SV Holstein, commonly known as Holstein Kiel (), is a German association football and sports club based in the city of Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein. From the 1900s through the 1960s the club was one of the most dominant sides in northern Germany. Holstein appeared regularly in the national playoffs, capturing their most important title, the German football championship in 1912, and finishing as vice-champions in 1910 and 1930. Julian Korb (born 21 March 1992) is a German professional footballer who plays as a right back for Borussia Mönchengladbach II. Club career Korb played in TuS Preußen Vluyn, Hülser SV und DJK/VfL Tönisberg youth teams. In 2004, Korb joined MSV Duisburg youth academy, and two years afterwards, in 2006, Korb joined Borussia Mönchengladbach youth academy. Aleksandar Ignjovski ( sr-cyrl, Александар Игњовски; born 27 January 1991) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or right-back. Jann-Fiete Arp (born 6 January 2000), known as Fiete Arp, is a German professional footballer who plays as a forward for 2. Bundesliga club Holstein Kiel. Steven Skrzybski (born 18 November 1992) is a German professional footballer who plays as a striker for Holstein Kiel. Career Early years Born in the capital Berlin, Skrzybski began playing at youth level from a very young age. He started at just eight years old with local team SG Stern Kaulsdorf before quickly being spotted as a potential star by professional club Union Berlin.
