2022–23 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors men's basketball team represents the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Rainbow Warriors, led by Eran Ganot in his eighth season, play their games at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center as a member of the Big West Conference. Previous season The Rainbow Warriors finished the 2021–22 season 17–11, 10–5 in Big West play to finish in third place. They defeated UC Riverside in the quarterfinals of the Big West tournament before losing to Cal State Fullerton in the semifinals. Eran Ganot
Eran Ganot (born September 8, 1981) is an American college basketball head coach for the University of Hawaii men's team. In 2015–16, his first season as head coach at Hawaii, he earned Big West Coach of the Year accolades. Early and personal life Ganot was born in Brooklyn, and raised in his hometown of Tenafly, New Jersey. He is Jewish. His father immigrated to the United States from Romania, and his mother immigrated to the US from Israel. He has a twin brother, named Asaf, a high-end fashion designer, and two sisters, Dani and Betty. Ganot attended Tenafly High School, graduating in 1999. Playing for his high school basketball team, he was a two-time all-league first-team selection, and was named all-county as a senior. The San Diego Toreros men's basketball team is a college basketball team that represents the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. The school's team currently competes in the West Coast Conference (WCC). The team played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2008. The Toreros play their home games in the Jenny Craig Pavilion, and their head coach is Steve Lavin. They won their first WCC title in 1983–84, when the conference was known as the West Coast Athletic Conference.
