HNK Hajduk Split
Hrvatski nogometni klub Hajduk Split, commonly referred to as Hajduk Split () or simply Hajduk, is a Croatian professional football club based in Split, that competes in the Croatian First League, the top tier in Croatian football. Since 1979, the club's home ground has been the 34,198-seater Stadion Poljud. The team's traditional home colours are white shirts with blue shorts and blue socks. The idea to form a football club was started by group of Split students who were studying in Prague. After observing a game between Slavia and Sparta Prague, the group gathered at the U Fleků tavern and talked of creating a football club at home. When they returned to Split, they put their plan in motion and Hajduk was founded on 13 February 1911. Between the early 1920s and 1940, Hajduk regularly participated in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia national championship. The Hrvatska nogometna liga () ( en, Croatian football league), also known as HNL or for sponsorship reasons the SuperSport HNL, is the top Croatian professional football (soccer), football league competition, established in 1992. Previously, it was called Prva Hrvatska nogometna liga (First Croatian Football League), but a league structure reorganization from 2022–23 led to name changes for the three top league levels. Overview The league was formed in 1991, following the dissolution of the Yugoslav First League, and is operated by the Croatian Football Federation. Since its formation, the league went through many changes in its system and number of participating clubs. Ivan Lučić (footballer, Born 1995)
Ivan Lučić (born 23 March 1995) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Hajduk Split. Club career Youth years in Austria Lučić began playing football when he was nine years old at the Viennese club Post SV in 2004. In 2006, he moved to FC Stadlau before entering the youth teams of Austria Vienna in 2008. After four years at ''die Veilchen'', Lučić joined Austrian Bundesliga side SV Ried prior to the 2012–13 season. Eventually, he made his professional debut for Ried on 11 May 2014 in the last match of the 2013–14 season, a 2–5 home defeat against Rapid Vienna, where he played 89 minutes. In order to receive more playing time, he was loaned to Austrian Regional League Central team Union St. Florian for the 2013–14 season. Yassine Benrahou
Yassine Otmane Benrahou (born 24 January 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as midfielder for Prva HNL side Hajduk Split. Born in France, he previously represented France and Morocco at youth international level. Club career On 6 August 2018, Benrahou signed his first professional contract with Bordeaux, keeping him at the club for three seasons. He made his professional debut with in a 3–2 Ligue 1 loss to Lyon on 26 April 2019. Benrahou joined Nîmes permanently in June 2020, after he spent the second half of the 2019–20 season on loan at the club. He signed a three-year contract, while Nîmes paid a transfer fee of €1.5 million to Bordeaux. Nikola Kalinić
Nikola Kalinić (; born 5 January 1988) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Croatian club Hajduk Split. Kalinić began his career with Hajduk Split in his native Croatia before moving to English club Blackburn Rovers for £6 million in 2009. After scoring rarely in two Premier League seasons, he left for Ukrainian side Dnipro, helping them reach the 2015 UEFA Europa League Final. Stefan Simić
Stefan Simić ( cz, Simič; sr-Cyrl, Стефан Симић, ; born 20 January 1995) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a defender for Spanish club Eibar. Club career Early career Simić entered Slavia Prague's youth ranks at the age of six.
