2022–23 Ferencvárosi TC Season
The 2022–23 Ferencvárosi TC season is the club's 124th season in existence and the 14th consecutive season in the top flight of Hungarian football. In addition to the domestic league, Ferencváros are participating in this season's editions of the Hungarian Cup and the UEFA Europa League. On 5 May, Ferencváros became the Hungarian football champions for the thirty-fourth time with 3 games to spare, after second placed Kecskemét lost game. Ferencvárosi Torna Club, known as Ferencváros (), Fradi, or simply FTC, is a professional football club based in Ferencváros, Budapest, Hungary, that competes in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I, the top flight of Hungarian football. Ferencváros was founded in 1899 by Ferenc Springer and a group of local residents of Budapest's ninth district, Ferencváros. Ferencváros is best known internationally for winning the 1964–65 edition of the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup after defeating Juventus 1–0 in Turin in the final. Ferencváros also reached the final in the same competition in 1968, when they lost to Leeds United, as well as the final in the 1974–75 season of the European Cup Winners' Cup, losing to Dynamo Kyiv. Újpest Football Club () is a Hungarian professional association football, football club, based in Újpest, Budapest, that competes in Nemzeti Bajnokság I. Formed in 1885, Újpest reached the first division of the Hungarian League in Nemzeti Bajnokság I 1905, 1905 and has been relegated only once since then. Amer Gojak (; born 13 February 1997) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Nemzeti Bajnokság I club Ferencváros and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
