2022–23 Bradford City A.F.C. Season
The 2022–23 season was the 120th season in the existence of Bradford City Association Football Club and the club's fourth consecutive season in League Two. In addition to the league, they also competed in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the EFL Trophy. Pre-season On June 8, Bradford City announced their pre-season schedule, which included a six-day training camp in Murcia. A sixth addition to the calendar was later confirmed, against Derby County. Bradford is a city status in the United Kingdom, city and the administrative centre of the City of Bradford district in West Yorkshire, England. The city is in the Pennines' eastern foothills on the banks of the Bradford Beck. Penalty Kick (association Football)
A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. The shot is taken from the penalty mark, which is 11 m (12 yards) from the goal line and centred between the touch lines. Procedure The ball is placed on the penalty mark, regardless of where in the penalty area the foul occurred. The player taking the kick must be identified to the referee. Jamie Walker (footballer)
Jamie Walker (born 25 June 1993) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Bradford City as an attacking midfielder or winger. He has previously played for Hearts, Raith Rovers and Wigan Athletic and represented Scotland at every youth international level. Early life Walker grew up in the Wester Hailes area of Edinburgh and attended Forrester High School. His great uncle was Tommy Walker, the former Hearts player and manager and Scottish international inside forward. Club career Heart of Midlothian A member of Hearts under-19 squad, Walker's performances in the early part of the 2011–12 season earned him a new three-year contract extending his stay with the club until 2014. Emmanuel Osadebe
Emmanuel Ebuka Osadebe (born 1 October 1996) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Forest Green Rovers. Club career Osadebe started playing football with his local side Dundalk. He joined Gillingham from Tottenham Hotspur Foundation College Programme in May 2015. He made his Gillingham debut on 8 August 2015 in 4–0 home win over Sheffield United where he was named Man of the Match. However, it later emerged that Osadebe had been ineligible to play, with Gillingham having mistakenly registered his previous club with the Football League and the FA as Tottenham rather than Dundalk. Lee Anthony Angol (born 4 August 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays for Sutton United. Career Wycombe Wanderers On 2 July 2012, Angol was signed by Wycombe Wanderers after leaving Tottenham Hotspur, having been a regular in their academy team. Kian Scales (born 9 November 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scunthorpe United. Scales began his career with Bradford City, and spent time on loan at Bradford (Park Avenue) and Farsley Celtic, before signing for Scunthorpe United. Career Scales began his career playing for the Bradford City youth team, joining at the age of 12 or 13. In March 2020 he moved on loan to Bradford (Park Avenue). York Community Stadium (known for sponsorship purposes as the LNER Community Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Huntington, North Yorkshire, Huntington, York, England. Kian Shay Harratt (born 21 June 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Huddersfield Town.
