2022–23 BIBL Season
The 2022–23 BIBL season is the 15th edition of Balkan International Basketball League (BIBL). The first match in the group stage is expected to take place in October 2022. Teams from Israel, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Kosovo and Ukraine are expected to participate in this competition. Format Seven teams will play against each other home-and-away basis. The teams placed 1st and 2nd will advance to the Final Four. while those place 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th will play in the Quarterfinals to determine the other two teams to advance to the Final Four. Balkan International Basketball League
The Balkan International Basketball League (BIBL), also known as the Balkan League, is a multinational professional basketball league that features mostly clubs from the Balkans. The league included teams from countries as Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania and Israel. The most recent league champion is Hapoel Galil Elyon from Israel. Purpose The purpose of the Balkan International Basketball League is to provide competitive international play for clubs in the Balkans that would otherwise be unable to participate in international basketball. The league achieves this by providing financial support to all participating clubs in order to ease the costs that make international play difficult. Among other milestones, the league is also the first international league of its kind to include teams from Kosovo. Brad Waldow
Brad Ernest Waldow (born December 30, 1991) is an American basketball player who last played for the Toyoda Gosei Scorpions of the Japanese B.League. He competed in college for the St. Mary's Gaels. Early life Waldow began playing competitive basketball in eighth grade. In his sophomore season at Ponderosa High School, he slimmed down and had a growth spurt that saw him increase his height from 6'2 to 6'7. Waldow averaged 26 points and 11 rebounds per game as a senior. Despite this, he was lightly recruited and one of the few collegiate offers came from St. Mary's. College career Waldow redshirted his freshman year at St. Mary's, which he used to add muscle to his frame. In an overtime win against San Diego on March 10, 2013, Waldow contributed 23 points, 16 rebounds, and four blocked shots and had a tooth knocked out while fighting for a rebound.
