Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) is an American mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion primarily operating in the Northeastern United States. Founded by Felix and Amy Martinez, they promoted their first shows in Atlantic City, New Jersey, launching the careers of fighters such as Kimbo Slice. Ali Shamilevich Bagautinov (russian: Али Шами́льевич Багаутинов; born June 10, 1985 in Dagestan) is a Russian professional mixed martial artist of Dargin origin who competed in the Flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Combat Sambo career After years of competing in wrestling and sambo, Bagautinov became a world Combat Sambo champion in Minsk. At the FIAS 2012 World Sambo Championships, Bagautinov defeated Belarusian Novitski Vladislav via decision (15-0) in the quarterfinals. Dustin Ortiz (born December 25, 1988) is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the Flyweight division and is currently signed to the Brave CF. A professional competitor since 2010, Ortiz has also formerly competed for the UFC, RFA, Tachi Palace Fights, King of the Cage and Strikeforce. Background Born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee, Ortiz competed in wrestling at Franklin High School where he was a standout. After graduating, Ortiz was working in construction before being drawn to mixed martial arts. Zachary Paul "Zach" Makovsky (born April 19, 1982) is an American mixed martial artist currently competing in the flyweight division of the Brave Combat Federation. He has competed in EliteXC, ShoXC, Bellator, and Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is the former Bellator Bantamweight World Champion. Background Makovsky was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Makovsky began wrestling when he was six years old and excelled in youth and middle school programs before attending Bethlehem Catholic High School where he was a four-year varsity letterman and the captain for his senior season. Makovsky then attended Drexel University, and was a walk on for the wrestling team.
