2022 World Shooting Para Sport Championships
The 2022 World Shooting Para Sport Championships was the 8th edition of the World Shooting Para Sport Championships. It was held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates from 6 to 17 November 2022. It was the first time the competition was staged in the Middle East. World Shooting Para Sport has proposed that 31 athletes was eligible to participate in the 2024 Summer Paralympics based on their performance at Al Ain 2022 – increasing the overall importance of this tournament. Al Ain
Al Ain ( ar, ٱلْعَيْن, , ) is a city in the western side of Tawam (region), Tuwwam region and the seat of the administrative division of its namesake, Al-Ain Region, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is Oman–United Arab Emirates border, bordered to the east by the Omani town of Al-Buraimi in the Al Buraimi Governorate. It is the largest inland city in the Emirates, the List of cities in the United Arab Emirates, fourth-largest city (after Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah), and the second-largest in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
