2022 W Series Le Castellet Round
The 2022 W Series Le Castellet round was the fourth round of a planned eight in the 2022 W Series, and took place at Circuit Paul Ricard in France on the 23rd of July 2022. The event was an undercard to the 2022 Formula One World Championship round at the same circuit. 2022 W Series
The 2022 W Series was the third season of the W Series motor racing championship. The championship was exclusively open to female racing drivers as a Formula Regional-level racing series in support of the 2022 Formula One World Championship. Jamie Chadwick became a three time champion following the cancellation of the remainder of the season on 10 October 2022. Entries The following drivers and teams competed in the 2022 W Series season. All teams used Hankook tyres, and ran two mechanically-identical Tatuus–Alfa Romeo F3 T-318 cars with two drivers. The rounds at Barcelona and Singapore used Tatuus–Toyota FT-60 cars loaned by Toyota Racing Series organiser Toyota Gazoo Racing New Zealand. Jessica Hawkins (born 16 February 1995 in Headley, East Hampshire) is a British people, British Auto racing#Racing driver, racing driver and stunt driver from East Hampshire, England. She currently competes in the W Series (championship), W Series, as well as the British Touring Car Championship. 2022 Le Castellet Formula 2 Round
The 2022 Le Castellet FIA Formula 2 round was a motor racing event held between 22 and 24 July 2022 at the Circuit Paul Ricard, Le Castellet, France. It was the ninth round of the 2022 FIA Formula 2 Championship and was held in support of the 2022 French Grand Prix. Driver changes David Beckmann replaced Jake Hughes for the Le Castellet round at Van Amersfoort Racing after Hughes tested positive for COVID-19. 2022 French Grand Prix
The 2022 French Grand Prix (officially known as the Formula 1 Lenovo Grand Prix de France 2022) was a Formula One motor race held on 24 July 2022 at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France. Going into the race with 2 consecutive wins for Ferrari and a solid qualifying performance that saw him in pole position, championship challenger Charles Leclerc and Ferrari were favoured for the win, which would have reduced their arrears to the championship leader and title holder Max Verstappen. However, Leclerc, who had been leading the race, spun out on lap 18, gifting the win to Verstappen. Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell finished second and third, respectively, giving the team their first double podium of the season. Tereza Bábíčková (born 26 March 2003) is a Czech racing driver. She made her debut in W Series in 2022. Career Bábíčková was born on 26 March 2003 in Vracov, Czech Republic. From the age of three, she competed in gymnastics. Bábíčková began karting from the age of six, initially only on weekends with the encouragement of her parents in order to allow her to learn to drive; she subsequently took up karting full-time instead of gymnastics. Abbi Pulling (born 21 March 2003) is a British racing driver. She currently competes for Racing X in the W Series, and is a member of the Alpine Affiliate programme. Career Karting Pulling started karting competitively in 2013 at the age of 9. She mainly developed her karting career in Britain, winning the Super 1 National Junior TKM Championship twice in 2017 and 2018. Alice Elizabeth Fraser Powell (born 26 January 1993) is a British racing driver. In 2010, she became the first woman to win a Formula Renault championship and in 2012 became the first woman to score points in the GP3 Series.
