2022 Volta A La Comunitat Valenciana
The 2022 Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana ''(English: Tour of the Valencian Community)'' was a road cycling stage race that took place from 2 to 6 February 2022 in the autonomous community of Valencia in eastern Spain. The race was rated as a category 2.Pro event on the 2022 UCI ProSeries calendar, and was the 73rd edition of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana. Teams 15 of the 18 UCI WorldTeams and eight UCI ProTeams made up the 23 teams that participated in the race. All but two teams entered a full squad of seven riders; and each entered six riders. Before stage 3, voluntarily withdrew from the race after two unspecified members of their squad tested positive for COVID-19. Before stage 4, and followed suit after two and three unspecified members, respectively, of both teams tested positive. 2022 UCI ProSeries
The 2022 UCI ProSeries is the third season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. The original calendar consisted of 56 events, of which 30 are one-day races (1.Pro), and 26 are stage races (2.Pro). Torrent, Valencia
Torrent ( es, Torrente) is a city located within the metropolitan area of the city of Valencia, Spain. It is the largest municipality of the Horta Oest ''comarca'', with 83,962 inhabitants (2020). It is situated some 7 km from Valencia city proper, to which it is connected via the metro. The two metro stations in Torrent are called ''Torrent'' and ''Torrent Avinguda'' on lines 1, 2 and 7. Bétera () is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of Camp de Túria in the Valencian Community, Spain. With 23.647 inhabitants, it is the second most populous town in the Camp de Túria shire (INE 2018), in the second zone of the Valencia metropolitan area. Les Alqueries () is a town in eastern Spain, in the province of Castellón, part of the autonomous community of Valencia. Economy is based on agriculture, specializing in growing oranges. It became an independent commune from Vila-real in 1985. History The area where Les Alqueries is located (60 kilometers to the north of Valencia) has been populated since the Iberian era.
