2022 Vancouver Warriors Season
The Vancouver Warriors is a professional lacrosse team based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The team plays in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2022 season was the 22nd in franchise history and the 8th season in Vancouver. The franchise previously played in Everett, Washington, San Jose, and Albany, New York. After going 6-12 for the season, and winning only one of their last 10 games, the Warriors decided to part ways with head coach Chris Gill and offensive coordinator Kaleb Toth at the end of the season. Brett Mydske took over the role of captain this season from Matt Beers, and Mitch Jones and Tyler Codron were named Assistant Captains. National Lacrosse League
The National Lacrosse League (NLL) is a men's professional box lacrosse league in North America. The league is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. National Lacrosse League Entry Draft
The National Lacrosse League entry draft is an annual event where the general managers of National Lacrosse League teams choose eligible players for their rosters from US college programs and Canada's junior lacrosse system. A player is deemed eligible for the draft if he is 21 years of age, or is less than 21 years of age and has used or given up all NCAA or NAIA eligibility. Kaleb Toth
Kaleb Toth (born August 8, 1977) is a Canadian former professional lacrosse player. He played for the Toronto Rock and Calgary Roughnecks of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He is now an assistant coach for the Vancouver Warriors of the NLL. Professional career Toth was the second overall draft pick in the 1999 NLL draft by the Toronto Rock and he played with them for two seasons. A game-winning goal by Toth in the last remaining second of play won the Rock their second straight Champion's Cup with a win over the Rochester Knighthawks in 2000. This goal was the last goal (in any sport) ever scored at Maple Leaf Gardens. After the 2001 NLL season, Toth was traded to the expansion Calgary Roughnecks for first round draft pick Blaine Manning. The 2022 National Lacrosse League season, formally known as the 2021–2022 season, is the 35th in the history of the NLL.
